Red Snow is a supernatural weather event in which snowfall is tainted red, like blood, and is presaged by a precipitous drop in local termperature, a drop that comes on in a matter of minutes, not hours, and which is so steep that trees freeze solid, falling over or losing branches from the weight of accumulated ice. People caught out in this snow unprotected die if they cannot quickly find shelter. Also sometimes called Red Dust because of the carmine residue that slain living creatures leave behind after succumbing, this phenomenon is thought by some shaman to be a manifestation of the Void Lord, The Undoer.
