Anu-Eya
God of Achaia
Lawful Neutral
Symbol: A somewhat alien face with a large round headdress
Anu-Eya is an ancient deity from the time before time. He long predates the arrival of demi-humans and humans to the Southern Reaches. He is a greater god and creator of the Archaians.
Anu-Eya gave life to his people and bestowed many gifts upon them. These included innate magical abilities and knowledge of the cosmos. When the Archons of the Trium sought to ascend to godhood and challenge him, Anu-Eya wrought destruction upon the great city of Archaia. His wrath cracked the earth, swallowed the city, and destroyed his peopleā¦ or so he thought. The Archons survived and, with the help of Impurax, have been plotting their revenge.
Anu-Eya is tall, lithe, with slightly pointed ears. He is often depicted wearing a large round headdress and loincloth. His arms, neck, fingers, ankles and toes are decorated in gold and platinum jewelry. He is a vengeful god.
Some believe that Anu-Eya is the father of Zuul. In fact, some of both Anu-Eya's and Zuul's faithful believe this.
Of very great interest, to those few people who are in the know, is the fact that since 196 PR four (count them, four) clerics of Anu-Eya that are operating within the Reaches have been identified by the spymaster of Threshold, who is both an archmage and a skillful investigator. Yes, apparently Anu-Eya has chosen — for the first time since destroying his people (the Achaians) in PR 103 — to take an interest in the mortal realm.
