Giant centipedes stand two to four feet in height and range from five to ten feet in length. They can be found in environments that feature darkness, moisture, and a food source.
These creatures attack with a bite that inflicts 1d4 points of damage and injects a poison. Vulnerable creatures bitten must make a Constitution-based saving throw against DC 11. Failure indicates paralysis the remainder of the round, with another saving throw possible each succeeding round to try to break the paralysis. Multiple bites do not inject poison each time, as the creature requires a one-turn refractory period before it can inject another dose of poison.
