Greensburg Millers sometime in the 1950s

Well, it's 4:09 pm. I've received the HDD enclosure and puzzles for clients that I ordered from Amazon. I've installed a 750 GB 3.5" drive, twiddled it with Partition Wizard, and now have it attached to my HP computer. I'm currently copying Macrium Reflect backups for three separate PCs to it. I've also copied blog images and my Proofy proofreading app files to it, as well as a large directory of work-related files and subdirectories.

We have play practice in less than an hour. Not really a play. More like a series of skits and monologues that tell the Christmas story. Mom wanted to go eat Mexican; I told her Tues/Wed/Friday would be possibilities.

The foregoing photo was made in the early 1950s and shows my paternal grandparents on the bottom row and — left to right (from camera perspective), my paternal uncle and my father.

Also, this afternoon, I replaced the batteries in my wireless mouse and keyboard connected to my ThinkCenter PC.

I emailed C. E. Wade, i.e. "Chuck", a former trooper turned security-consultant whom mother met during her last gal-pal trek cross-country. He'd told her he wanted to publish a book, and she informed him one of her sons did proofreading work. We'll see if I get a nibble.

Family tree

Today, I had eight clients at TR. K was off and C and I handled things. Everything went smoothly. A couple of TC's practicum students spent much of the day with us. I found a family tree schematic I made years ago.

To read the contents of the family tree clearly, you'll have to download the file and zoom in with an image editor.

I typed a letter for P to send to the court. I floated the idea of closing one member due to low attendance. We had hot dogs, baked beans, and onion rings for lunch.

We had supper to celebrate Mamaw's birthday: beef and gravy over biscuits. Very good! Jimmie was confused but pleasant. Ice cream sandwich and coffee afterward.

On the left, a picture of our three dogs, brought to you courtesy of a backup of Susan's iPhone pics.

We're watching Money Heist again tonight. I think we're on episode four of season two. A is cooking H supper. He seems to be doing well on medication. I really like the guy. I hope everything works out for them, long-term.

K has pulled another of her stunts, cried off a second consecutive day of work. I think I'll just pick up some frozen pizzas for TR to eat tomorrow. Of course, tomorrow is our cra-cra day, super-busy with the prescribers there, and staff meeting. That means I'll be out of pocket a lot, and C will be more stressed than usual. This makes frozen pizza seem an even better idea.

A picture of the young Paul M, my father

Here is a picture of my dad in his younger years. He's holding a revolver. He sure did love guns and shooting. Dad died March 16, 2018. Sure do miss him!
