Pizza, uncles, and suicide

Well, a fairly typical Wednesday at work. Busy for Green County, but still preferable to Adair and the incompetence there.

As I foresaw, the pizzas were a relief to C, though she still managed to stress out about the dirty oven and the slow cooking. The pizzas were Wild Mike's frozen pizza.

I found this picture of a 2011 (2012?) Christmas play we put on at the Glens Fork Methodist Church.

I was only in two or three Christmas plays before my patience gave out, but I admire L's creativity and devotion to bring off these productions. She is a better servant than am I.

And I found the following picture in a bunch of pics I culled from my Dropbox account in 2017 or 2018. I don't know how old "Howdy Doody" was in this picture. He died when I was a senior in high school. That would have been 1985:

AE hired me today to proofread a short story approximately fourteen thousand words in length. After a transaction fee, I cleared $47.45. So, about three words per cent earned. She messaged that she has three more after this one that she wants to get done by year's end.

Also, I had a message from my California proofreading friend, J, Monday night. She says she'll soon forward me my first novel-length job from the company she works for. I figure she's passing me the excess she can't handle herself. I'm hoping to in the vicinity of $300 on it.

Here's my nephew by marriage, Sam Brummett, picture taken late October 2019.

Mother called me crying this afternoon and told me that Morris Coffey shot and killed himself this morning.

The clear 2.5" drive enclosure arrived today, and I put the 500GB spare drive in it and plugged it into the back of the T-NAS. I'm currently copying Macrium backups on my laptop, the Hewlett-Packard, and the ThinkCenter M53 to it.

I also found a picture of me with Susan's uncle, Leon Davis. I think it was taken early 2016 or late 2015.

Sunday 06th October 2019

Sunday 10/06/2019 I have some anxiety because I have a couple of OTRs due first thing at work tomorrow. That's my fault because I could have gotten them done last week.

1988 flight to Europe:

I've also decided that if I'm ever going to get the myriad of photos scanned (that I collected upon dad's death), I just need to scan and upload at least one daily. So, today's picture is a shot from a plane trip either going to or returning from Europe in 1988. It's a shot of the wing and an engine from my window seat.

This trip was taken with my high school Spanish class, some of them anyway. Ms. Troutman was our chaperone. Her friend Mrs. Sapp also went. Mrs. Sapp was my high school health class teacher.

Last night, Susan and I watched a movie based on Stephen King's novella In The Tall Grass. I think his son also helped with the novella. Today, after church, we watched a movie called Artemis Hotel. Pretty good. We also watched a movie titled Let Me In about a child vampire.

<img align="right" hspace=10 vspace=10 enter image description hereI also came across this old picture from my childhood. That's William David Ware on the right, son of Gary and Bonne Ware, a school friend. I sent a link of this picture to mom, Margaret, and Allan.

I've about finished syncing a bunch of software to my NAS and my OneDrive (I have 1 TB there thanks to my annual Office 365 subscription) account. I'm also backing it up to a 465Gb USB drive.

We had ham and cheese sliders at Mamaw's for lunch. Wanda brought potato salad. I overate a bit, but I'd had very little breakfast.
