Robe of Many Eyes

A Robe of Many Eyes has many symbolic eyes sewn into its exterior. When worn, this robe enables a conscious, unimpaired person to see 360° at all times. Effectively, the character cannot be caught flat-footed, and only surprised if magic or some extraordinary ability makes this possible. A person who sleeps in this robe will be warned of anyone approaching her with harmful intent, by the robe shocking the wearer awake (doesn't harm the wearer). Wearers of such a robe get a hefty bonus (DM's decision) on Notice rolls.

Heroic Deed: Death Ward

- Posted in Scarlet-Horizons by

Available to Mage 3+. An invisible aura forms around you. This death ward persists for eight hours, until you dismiss it, or until it is dispelled or is triggered. If you are targeted with a Finger of Death or Disintegrate spell, or Death Word while protected in this fashion, your Death Ward defeats it (you do not need to make a saving throw), and is itself ended. You may instead opt to surrender your Death Ward when you take damage from a spell, weapon, fall, or trap. In this event, the ward winks out after preventing 3d8+X damage to your person — where X is your total caster levels.

Code Obfuscators

Although it's probably the case that the hobbyist developer needn't worry too much about his .NET CIL code being decompiled, there are some free assembly obfuscators that seem to work: OrangeHeap (~ 1.35 Mb download) and Confuser (~2.2 Mb download; available here). I prefer the latter.

Tools like these have a way of becoming vaporware. Nevertheless, at the time I write this, you can find OrangeHeap here on the internet, and Confuser here.
