If you are interested in creating a character to play in my rpol.net Arden-Vul campaign, you'll be creating an Old School Essentials character. Here's a free summary of the rules we'll be using. Take the following Steps:
Step 1: verify that this game is accepting new players.
Step 2: go to the PBEGames dice roller.
Once on the dice-roller page (https://pbegames.com/roller/), scroll down and enter my email address as shown below (my email is kyrathasoft@gmail.com - I recommend you copy and paste).
Next, scroll further down the page to the section labeled 'Roll One' and enter the information shown in the following screenshot:
And, finally, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Submit button:
Once I get the email, I will verify the rolls with the dice server:
These eighteen dice results will become a set of three ability scores. Here is an example of results generated by this process. You will get to choose one of the three generated sets after I present them to you. These aren't necessarily your final scores. Here's an example of three sets I rolled using these instructions:

In the exceedingly unlikely event that all three sets contain one or more results of '3', or if all three sets have scores no higher than an 8, I will permit you to repeat this entire process.
If each of the three sets sums to a different total and you choose the set that has the smallest total, your character will earn +10% bonus XP.
If all three sets sum to different numbers and you choose the middle option, your character will gain +5% bonus XP. If two sets have matching totals and you choose the set with the least total, you'll earn +5% bonus XP.
If all three sets have the same total, your character will not earn any bonus XP. If all three sets sum to different totals and you choose the set totaling the highest, your character will earn 0% bonus XP.
If you're thinking less exceptional characters earn more bonux XP, you're right.
Bear in mind that, for each of the three sets of scores, they are assigned to your character's abilities in the following order: STR, INT, WIS, DEX, CON, CHA — there is no re-arranging.
Once you've selected one of the three sets, we will then collaborate on your choice of character class and (if desired) ability score adjustments to raise a prime requisite.
